Inspired by works of a famous entrepreneur, the Blaze Mode for the GNU+Cluster was a Bunsen burner on steroids, originally developed for a party held among the Maker Community of the CORE. When a group of 20 punks lined up, cigarettes in mouth, the trick was to light all at once. The jet engine attached to this baby did the trick.

When the firefighters arrived, there was nothing left to pick up. Still, the design made its way onto the corporate market, where it was immediately patented for safe industrial use.
