After privatization of the East Coast, the economy of CORE degenerated into a petri dish of cryptocurrencies, corporate scrip, and tokens. After years of consumers being locked out of basic necessities, a single currency consolidated. Introduced as customer points, dominance lead to the Interport Discount Passport becoming the intermediary of transactions.

Rebranded in cooperation with other megacorps as Intercorporate Credit Points, the currency is referred to as Credits or ICP. The CSA sticks to dollars, but holds ICP for impromptu repairs and upgrades.
