One of the projectiles commissioned by militaries to be developed for the Modular Multi-Munition Platform are incendiary rounds that would serve as bunker busters and area denial weapons. The Flame Assault Payload is the provided solution. Engineers removed the standard propellant and turned the projectile into a grenade. The entire contents of the casing were replaced with a highly flammable organometallic/thermite nanocomposite that easily reaches a temperature half of that of the surface of the sun.
