Surplus supplies never die, and the Open Source Cluster Cannon is proof of that. A tired programmer, unable to sleep from drone shipments flying by his window, tried every EM countermeasure to get rid of the nuisance. The UAVs were shielded against all interference and a physical removal method was needed. The anonymous hero acquired much 40mm and got to work. A print here, a CAD model there, and what were once multi-use launcher shells became a buckshot menace against Interport.
Multiple shell types utilizing the same retro 40mm case soon popularized this weapon among hobbyists, allowing anyone to print their own launcher cannons and crude unsightly shotguns.
