Cheap and expandable, Interport’s warehouses become piles of rubble within months. Prone to disasters, leakage and hazards, the facilities are maintained by the Pincer units – hulks of augmented flesh. They maintain a fraction of free will, just to fix machinery and clear accidents.

C-Balls aren’t of use to Interport slaves. However, they’re still strewn around as material for Pincers, utilizing their shoulder-mounted crane arms to repair structures. The nanite sources are also diverted to other systems of the maintenance units, empowering them to clear out the trash.
