Intended as a digital lock breacher and temporary electronic countermeasure, this military augment has a flashbang effect on cyborg combatants.

Within milliseconds. It produces small, cone-shaped explosions that disperse aerosolized particles of superfine magnetic dipoles, followed by strong electromagnetic discharges. Dipoles increase effectiveness of pulses exponentially, forming electric arcs, bending light and disabling most electronics, including cybernetics. The visual effect, described by those hit by it, is reminiscent of sudden flashes of static from 20th century televisions. It is debilitating and disorienting, often called a “Brain Scrambler”.
