“Thrips, insects of the order Thysanoptera, are associated with thunderstorms, often called “stormblight”. They are feared among biodome tissue farmers, being capable of destroying sterile environments.”

The Stormblight Cascade was devised as a boobytrap – charged metal rods to be placed onto surfaces using launchers. Triggered by induction sensors, they deliver painful shocks to those that step between them.

For more mischievous users, an option to manually trigger discharge exists. The Tarball Launcher can drive Stormblight rods into enemies, followed by manual discharge. Exposed tissues and internal circuitry boil underneath your armor.
