Designated the Stray Redirector, the Projectile Defense System automatically reroutes incoming blasts into the slipspace stream utilized by the SwitchBack Translocator and other technologies. Despite making the user invulnerable, it cannot prevent the detonation or impact of a projectile, but rather sends it somewhere else. Where else? That is unknown.
