The most advanced and dangerous General Intelligences are infinitely smarter than quantum computers, whilst totally alien in logic compared to silicon AIs.
Their use is regulated by the Turing Registry, an international body that “contains” these powerful entities by limiting their computing power allocation. The sale of Turing Tokens, each representing 10 milliseconds of computing time for use in research or defense, keeps them controlled. If lucky, the CSA sometimes acquires corporate TTs and uses them to achieve breakthroughs.
