The Phoenix Mothership is a heavy class flying enemy found in Watts, equipped with the ability to summon 4 homing bombs that deal significant damage if left alone.
The drones are summoned in a batch, orbiting around the mothership drone, with each one spawning in one second after the other before they start homing in on the player one-by-one.
The homing bombs can be Marked, and have one health, so one very effective strategy is to throw a grenade right after the 4th homing bomb spawns, and the grenade with both Mark and kill all the drones, giving the player a lot of resources while eliminating the looming threat.
